    Blade: 7 o'Clock Indian Green
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Soap: Williams
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

    Staying with the post-War Aristocrats, but for today I went with my older one- the Impoverished Patrician, named for the down-on-its-heels state it was in when I bought it. I don't have a lot to say other than it lived up to its lineage and delivered an excellent shave.

    Off the puck is heavy patchouli however upon lathering it opens up. Citrus opening followed by light florals but these give way quickly to the base notes; patchouli, amber and vanilla. I bought it to go with my bottle of Tom Ford Noir which it pairs with nicely however SWMBO didn't like the patchouli and vanilla combo. It's a nice oriental scent and I'm bummed she doesn't like it

    Love the Copper Zenith Blair. I have a new Olive Wood Zenith that I got in last week.

    The SOC mixed knot is really a fantastic brush blending the best of boar and badger brushes. It really hits way above its price point.
