Here are some Sheratons. The one on the left in both pictures is a 1937 - 1938 and on the right a 1938 - 1940.
Here is one I posted elsewhere on the board. This is the 3rd variant of the US open comb Aristocrat sold retail between 38 - 40. This particular model was sold through the American Legion emblem catalogs and was sold to members from 40 - 42. The case is but the blade bank is probably not the original to this set.
Picked this set up a few weeks ago for $12.00 at an antique shop. Pretty rough condition and the handle has some cracks. WW I era, not military issue.
Handle cracks are easy enough to repair using plumber/marine adhesive or the same as 2 part epoxy. I can't read the serial # in the picture but if you search for gillette date codes on the internet you'll be able to date the razor that way. All I can say for sure is if it has a serial # it is most likely 1921 or earlier.
Thanks fellas. I did look up the serial number (E750850) and it seems it's from 1918. I may get a repro handle from Razor Emporium some day.
Here are a few more for today. These are some of the best Gillette made. But there are more. Toggle Diplomat No70 President No21 No58 Aristocrat V3
