56 triumph tr3 was the first production car. i am sure they were present on race car types of that era. most performance stuff came from the racers..

    Arko Adjustable April

    April 19

Razor - Qshave (Futur clone) (6)
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - 30 DC LE
    Post - Alum

Third shave for the Qshave and Sharp Star, and the 19th in a row for Arko so far this month. The 30DC brush made it simple and fast and the lather was luxurious. I really do like Arko - and 19 days in a row doesn't bother me. Much. Yeah, I'm a bit bored but it works like a charm and I have no complaints, so a month celebrating its history and simplicity is a small price to pay.

Anywho - two passes and touch ups and I do believe the baby is in the house. No issues or complaints so we'll just say it's been a fun and successful month so far with all of my DE adjustables. Tomorrow I'll break out the Schick Type M and give it a few days on maximum setting. Should be fun and some great shaves!

Hope you have a great holiday weekend planned!

I was talking about this Temizel brush last night, which got me thinking about it, which got me using it today. I'm a real fan of Turkish boar brushes. Haven't met one yet that I didn't like. If you run across one of these, I highly recommend it. A little on the scrubby side, just enough, so it makes short work of rock hard pucks. Of course, the Mickey Lee Souq is not rock hard, but that's fine. Lather and shave were awesome.

    April 20th
    Razor: Gillette Blue Tip A2
    Blade: SuperMax Blue Diamond (1)
    Brush: Grizzly Bay Constitution
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: A&E Asian Plum
    Thayers Lavender witch hazel
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: A&E Asian Plum

    Good morning!

Excellent first outing with the Blue Tip. Three passes with touch up. Near BBS, totally silent alum. The Blue has a very narrow sweet spot and I found I was really dependent on the audio feedback. Get out of the sweet spot and the razor isn't going to shave. Enjoyable easy shave to start the day.

Tomorrow the Flare Tip will be put in service. The Red Tip will be up Monday. I believe these razors were Gillette's precursor to the true adjustable so kinda on theme for the month.

Continuing on with my second use soap focus. I didn't realize I had so many with a single use. Several yet to go.

Have a great Easter weekend! [IMG]

I look at the floor when I do the back of my neck, it helps flatten out the bumps back there. The only place on my head I need to see is right over my ears, is I dont, I miss the spots right where the ear meets the head.
