Best shave yet with the steel Zeppelin, proving it's not a lead balloon.
Moving the handle towards the ground slightly, improved its efficiency significantly.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

I know Tim. I kept four of his scents in my rotation. I am truly going to miss them when they are gone!!

    Saturday

    Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Gentleman
    Soap: Stirling Sandpiper
Razor: Vintage Gillette NEW Short Comb
Blade: Gillette “7 O’Clock Blue” Super Platinum (5)
    Brush: Cowboy Classic/Whipped Dog Silvertip-24mmx54mm
    Aftershave: Stirling Sandpiper w/Menthol

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Stirling Sandpiper today. 20 seconds to load the Cowboy Classic/Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 7-O’Clock Blue SP still in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Sandpiper aftershave.

    7A6BDF3E-A419-4285-8225-758001445C03.jpeg Saturday morning:

    L’Oreal Men Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Wilkinson Long Handle/Rapira day 3
    Bundubeard Kudu’s Kick SS
    Prep ASB
    Aqua Velva AS Splash

This was an absolutely dynamite shave and so easy as well as enjoyable because of my Wilkinson long handle/Rapira combination. The Kudu soap may not be as frigid as the Kameelperd but it’s still gives a hell of a nice menthol effect while it’s on your face and it’s got such great lather, with that beautiful coffee/peppermint scent. I gave myself a good massage with the Prep cream afterwards and a couple of splashes of the Aqua Velva, and then I was good to go. Two passes gave me a perfect BBS result!

    Have a great Saturday!

    Gillette 7 O'Clock (7)
    Proraso Green balm

From the feel of it, this will be the last shave I'll need using the post shave balm. Three days of " facial therapy" have healed my minor irritation. So, to start my week off tomorrow, it's back to some alcohol splashes.

    •Cooper three piece/BIG BEN
    •VDH soap

2 pass BBS. The less sharp blade improves the comfort of the aggressive razor and is still very efficient. I don't feel like I've been skinned alive this time but the razor still wants to bite if the angle isn't right.

Spring Cleaning and a Superb Shave
It was time to clean my Vision today and naturally I wanted to use it afterwards. Tabac was the obvious choice to limit variables and evaluate how well I reassembled the razor. I used it wide open and took my time because I've been reading reviews of the r41 and thought I have an aggressive beast in my den already. I got one small weeper in an otherwise close and comfortable shave.

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Merkur Vision
    Blade: Voskhod
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Silver Surfer
    Pre-Shave: Tabac PSO
