I had almost finished my tube of C.O. Bigelow, so I emptied my last two tubes into the empty container I'd been using. I prefer using creams from a container than from a tube. Once I use up this cream, I will have finished a total of three tubes of C.O. Bigelow. I am seriously reducing my shaving cream and soap inventory, aiming toward having (plenty of) a few favorites in the Den.

I'll continue to finish my shaves with the Clubman until it's used up. I'm getting there, but I don't use as much aftershave as some do. I've never finished a bottle of AS, and it takes a while for me to finish a bottle of cologne. I may eventually mortgage the house and pick up a bottle of Creed Aventus. That would give me TDH, Aventus, and Aramis in the cologne rotation. I'd be happy with three or so aftershaves as well - one or two of the Fine offerings, a Bay Rum, and a Tobacco flower scent - but I'm a ways from getting there. I don't consider myself a minimalist, but I just tend to keep coming back to what I like.

Danny, nice first run with the kami. I think you'll prefer using Feather AC blades. Skip the Pro Guards and go directly to the Supers or the Super Pro's. I'm glad you caught the problem with the loose pin before it caused a problem. It should shave fine with practice and with Feather blades.

Absolutely, it is my favorite finishing/ touch up stone. I have tried a Naniwa 12k, Gokyumo 20k and Zulu Grey, the Shapton is my winner.

A cold wet morning here in North Atlanta. The big boar brush tore through what little remained of the MW Vetiver and Oakmoss soap. I had to reach for the Stirling R4L to have enough soap for a shave.

Three passes and touch ups with the Slim on 9 left me with a near perfect shave. Maya came home for Easter so I am going to spend the day with her. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

1) Next ride with the SRX should be in the new house

2) You are actually a closet Clubman fan, but the President of the new Homeowners Assn is not and has seen to it that a moratorium on Clubman be in place.

What a Hoity Toity neighborhood.
