SOTD: Decided to do a night shave Today since my aunt and cousin is visiting for easter, so i didn't want to clog up the bathroom in the morning lol. As usual the piccolo and feather combination performed flawlessly, feathers have absolutely blown me away with their longevity. The malt and myrtle from the gentlemans groom room was absolutely perfect, definitely a soap i recommend everyone tries if they can get their hands on a tub. Razor: Fatip piccolo Blade: feather hi-stainless (21) Soap: the gentlemans groom room malt n myrtle Brush: dischem synthetic Aftershave balm: the body shop maca root razor relief Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
April Adjustable & not Arko Stirling Glastonbury SS B-400 Omega 98 boar Suribachi & cool water '59 Fat Boy, GSB blade Stirling Glastonbury AS It's not ARKO. If I was a full on Hippy shaving wouldn't even be a subject to discuss. Striking a happy medium with the patchouli scent and a '50's era razor. Still working the huge sample in an Old Spice mug until it's done, loaded with the old style brush fashioned from new materials. I made sure to go beyond adequate making enough lather for a very comfortable 3-1/2 pass reduction. The 195 stays on number nine these days. No backing down since Technique trumped the tool. No errors & grand daughter gave me a "Good Job Pawpaw!" evaluation. Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend. Good Shaves Y'all!
I am up for that of course...and anything else you might want to borrow. except money...I have none of that

Thanks Clint! The Charlie School of Photography classes are really paying off. Thank you Gary! Hoping the grass has been cut to make it easier for the kids hunting eggs. Y'all still have snow on the ground there? Not sure about the timing of manufacturing for Opal brushes - is that real ivory on the brush? Thanks Joe! I'm hoping to set a high standard for when they start dating. No scruffy beardlets allowed.
I've more considered the Yankee designation a geographical moniker. The amount of negativity had varied since the term came into use. Possibly a mispronunciation of the early Dutch settlers "Janke", or small John. The British credited with the first written record in 1758. It was used in a derogatory manner until 1775 when at a battle near Lexington and Concord American Rebels kicked Imperialist butt and took pride in the term. Much later it became a North - South thing. Personally having been born in the South, but growing up and developing a Northern (Mid Western) accent, I kid folks about it. Never know anyone to take serious offense but I don't get far up the Eastern Seaboard very often.
no snow here for a while , not real ivory.not sure of the material..nice weighty brush though..solid..
April 20 Good evening, gentlemen! It's been 24 hours since my last shave and my stubble is socially passable, but I decided to shave. I took out my N4 Slim (9). Went with the Williams. Bloomed it and face lathered with my Omega Pro 49. The one thing I did differently was really load the brush and made sure that the boar was wetter than usual. I must have swirled 400x to get a decent amount of soap and lather on the brush. With all that, I got a thin lather with sufficient protection that did not dissappear for each pass. I still had to go and swirl my brush a few times after each pass. I only needed 2 passes with very little touchup. It was a nice BBS shave without any blood or itritation. Topped it with Old Spice AS. I guess you can say this was an early old-fashioned early 1960's shave. Guys, have a great nice and again, Have a great Resurrection Sunday!
