April Focus Acqua di Parma~~Simpson~~Ralf Aust~~Pierre Cardin SR #66 Believe it or not, this original formula Acqua di Parma is full of granules. When will this end????? Seriously folks, I have had it up to my eyeballs with this situation. I am seriously considering mixing in some boiling water and making an attempt to melt them. Didn't baby the CH2 today and the results were exponentially better. Lovely brush. Lapped the Aust on my CrOx-infused linen strop, followed by the above-pictured SRD strop. Excellent results---even around the chin. Short, deliberate strokes, which were ended without "slamming on the brakes". Alum was relatively quiet as was the Thayer's. Now, to reiterate, I do NOT have an AdP dupe for an aftershave, so gazing at my shave shelf, I took an Austin Powers' step back in time with some spritzes of my Pierre Cardin. Groovy, baby...
Great photo and shave report Joseph. Sorry about the shaving cream. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Can a man ever own too much Proraso? My answer is "nein" . Its a tried and true performer and the soap I used for my 30 day rule. I forget who suggested it but I'm grateful to whomever you are. Heres todays rundown on the shave : Lots of Proraso products Gem SS blade Father's refurbed brush Gem Jr. W/ 9NEIN9 handle
Thanks Gary. In my opinion the handle looks and feels much better than the original. Its from a military set so the handle is made from a cheap metal with what looks like shellac coating.
