    This Murphy & McNeil is the absolute WORST smelling soap I have EVER used.
    Give me ARKO!
    For once, I had to agree with SWMBO, who was compelled to open a window after telling
    me how awful the stench was.
    For the first time in my shaving career, I had to go wash my face. Seriously.
    AND...you will not believe this, GRANULES. I kid you not.
    They did dissolve, but can't anyone make a decent cream anymore????
    I am sick and tired of these new products coming to the market and they are simply
    created by unproven soap makers.
    I am sorry if you are a fan of this brand, but there is MORE to soap than a nice label.
    Why on earth can't the scent description say NAG CHAMPA????
    Rather than
    Orange, Grapefruit, Rose, Jasmine, Patchouli, Amber, Incense, Vanilla
    This has been relegated to a BST thread.

    Update: After having written a pretty critical review on M&M website, I was issued a full refund plus the cost to send the products back. :happy088:

    I think I remember someone around here saying you can't go wrong with Williams. No granules in that soap. :eatdrink013:

    Brush: PAA The Green Ray
    Lather: Oleo New City
    Aftershave: Oleo New City
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

    This was my first shave with a Single Ring, and I wonder why I waited so long. It was really a terrific shave as it was smooth and easy. Two passes and DFS +. The soap was great as always, so my day is off to a great start. I hope everyone has a great day!

    I'm completely with you on the scent, I couldn't quite place it but it's definitely Nag Champa. The quality of the tub I purchased however was fantastic. The lack of consistency is concerning.
