What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

Wonderful shave today, from an old English made razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues. Great Razor, that takes an excellent edge.

Razor- "Bow Razor", by Wade & Butcher. Sheffield England. 1/2 Hollow Ground.
Brush- RazoRock 400. WD High Mountain Badger
Soap- ARKO stick
Aftershave- Arctic Blue.

The guy that made this razor was serious about it. What a nice shaving tool. I happened to be in Denver during the 4-20 festival. I delivered some furniture for my son. I did make it down to the State Capitol for a while on Saturday and made it to Carl's Jr. for a CBD burger. At any rate I made 3 brushes in a 4-20 series. This is the first. It has a 26mm Tuxedo in a oversized hole. Set just deep enough for the bristles to touch the side of the hole. I tried to over build it to give it an industrial strength look. Great shave this morning and the brush made quick work of the MWF.

I find it not to be terrible, just terribly inexpensive. The ZY takes a very nice edge, with very nice steel. I guess it all depends on how and who hones it.
