My Bride and I enjoyed a busy day of packing, running errands, and getting my her signed up for new health insurance. We put the final touches on the details of scheduling our move, and we finalized the closing date on our current home. We then received a late afternoon call from our builder telling us that we'd be delayed by a week mainly due to expected rain...still have final grading and a concrete driveway to pour. The inside will be finished...just waiting on the outside stuff to pass inspection. We spoke to our mover and our buyers...no worries. We will need to slide a few more things out by a week tomorrow, but it will work out fine. Our builder knows that we like to plan ahead, and I could tell that he didn't want to break this "bad" news to us. We thanked him for everything he was doing for us and said it was no big deal. And it's not. This definitely falls into the category of first world problems. I don't have enough hair left to lose more over stuff like this. The good news is that I'm fairly certain I was the only guy 'round these parts that had a great Mongoose shave this morning. I plan to use this Feather Super Pro blade for seven shaves (today was shave number four), but I think it could go much longer. Maybe not as long as @matthewoli98 would push it, but far longer than @Terry, of course. Have a great evening, gents!
Wonderful set up and shave, Jason. I hope all is well. I had to look the definition of tout suite. My southern friends and I translate it as lickety-split. Or as Major Payne would say..."quick, fast, and in a hurry."
Sounds like you are getting close, even with the slight delay. I am happy and excited for you, Charlie!
Thanks Jim. It's hard to believe that we're almost there. Looking back, we literally made decisions on every design aspect of the house. This is the first (and hopefully last) time we've ever done anything like this. It has had its up and downs, but we've generally had a good time with it. In particular, my Bride is an HGTV and This Old House junkie, so she's loved whole process. And I've loved watching her have fun. Truthfully, all the details have fallen into place, and we have been blessed. We're ready to get moved in, unpacked, and start enjoying the summer. The last time I checked, there was bunch of BBQ ribs waiting for us in STL and at a Blues and BBQ festival in the western part of the state. I hope you're having a fantastic week!
I was wondering what happened to our resident troll, welcome back Brian. It feels great when it all comes together.
Great shave Blair. Sounds like some excellent new hardware and software. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You have had a very busy day. The Mongoose / Super combo delivers excellent shaves. With you two pass routine should last you 10-14 days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks Clint. I could see this blade lasting for two weeks. I've got so many blades, though, I might change it after a week. I hope you had a great day as well.
I've done that once. Having all 218 episodes & 2 movies (74 gigs) tucked away on a hard drive makes it easy. That particular episode deviated from the standard model offering insight into the Skully characters private life. Ms. Anderson played in another series recently, but she's slimmed down and doesn't look the same.
