April Adjustable! RazoRock Lime Burst AA T-400 Badger brush Suribachi & cool water Ming Shi 2000s on 6 Gillette Silver Blue blade Pinaud Lime Sec Cologne Briefly considered a Williams lather. Even thought about using the Vintage rather than Modern. Siren song of the Limes has been calling so I went that way. Easy lather from the hard puck via the just scritchy enough badger brush. No clue how many uses on the GSB and it's not done yet. Wide open on the Futur clone for 3 full passes with very little cleanup. Smooth and well reduced but for the lowest beard at my shirt collar. No burn from the Pinaud, and shared a bit of the scent with a grand daughter who like it. Good Shaves Y'all!
Thursday Shave: After today this tub should only have two more shaves left, it has taken much longer than expected to finish this tub. The Hart Steel razor has an excellent edge on it a small weeper and a tickle from the alum were the only negatives, all in all an excellent shave. I did a little work to brass handle brush. I ripped out the boar knot which was floppy and shedding. I then lightly sanded the handle and bead blasted it with a finer grit media. I then robbed a synthetic knot from another handle and set in the brass handle. The finish on the handle matches the Karve better.
Quick question, when you shave with your off hand are you shaving the same side of the fase as the off hand or is it left hand right face and vise versa? I ask because it is my plan to learn open blade in the future and have read that learning to shave with your off hand is high on the list of things peiple would have learned earlier.
Blair, if you had me as your Chem teacher, then you would have liked the course. Anyway, great shave report!
I struggled in Biology, never took Chemistry or Physics. I would have liked to have tried Physics over Chemistry. Sorry @Trigger
