Aftershave: Stirling Agar w/Menthol

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Stirling Agar today. 20 seconds to load the Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 7-O’Clock Blue SP still in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Agar.

Lolll I almost started to use the Rapira blade after I finished lathering up - in fact I took one stroke with it and realized it was time to scrap it, then I put in the new Minora and what a difference. Two passes with this blade gave me a brilliant, effortless BBS shave which I enjoyed so much. The Roseline soap lathered so rich, slick, and protective, with that beautiful scent that’s almost but not quite the same as the Williams stick. The Prep gave me its wonderful soothing effect with such a nice cooling sensation, and although it wasn’t planned I couldn’t resist splashing on some Booster Polar Ice aftershave much to my wife’s chagrin. She was a lot happier when I sprayed on some Aramis afterwards. Wowwwww, am I ever super smooth!

Tabac Thursday's Shave

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #343 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Ever-Ready 1909 razor with a Vintage Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
