April 25, 2019 Karve F Plate Feather Zenith B-25 Olive Wood Boar SV Manna di Sicilia Soap & Aftershave Another excellent shave this morning. Everything just worked well together. Two passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. A splash of the SV Manna di Sicilia was the perfect end to the shave. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

That. Is. Awesome.! Yes, 100% agree. Instructors always make the difference. Chemistry in H.S....unfortunately an instructor I won't forget. Physics III in senior year of college (BS Electronic Engineering 1987)....same thing....ended up retaking the class, set me behind a semester. Next instructor, it was hard not to do extremely well.
April Focus Noble Otter~~Rubberset~~Dovo SR #67 Pretty simple shave today. While the Noble Otter brand is relatively new to my den, it has an "old school" feel to it. Excellent scent, yes, but most importantly, the soap was properly manufactured by someone who knew (knows) what they are doing. The Dovo 6/8 is a relatively large razor for me, but I am getting used to it. This one's got a good edge and tight pins. Not fancy, but utilitarian. Nothing wrong with that. You could say the same about the Rubberset. This is not a fancy brush, but feels good in the hand and while the boar knot could be softer, it whips up good lather and delivers it where you want it to. Three-ish passes, using left and right hands (mostly right). DFS, not better, but serviceable. Lonestar has a really interesting scent. Grassy, hay, sage. It's mos def unique in my den. Plus it has earned the coveted SWMBOSOA.

Great report Terry and sorry about the cold water. I had to put two new heating elements in our hot water tank last night. I cannot complain. We have been living in the house for 21 years and I have never had to touch the tank till last night.
That's how I feel about the two Texas products I have(Central Texas Soaps and The Soap Exchange). They know what they're doing in their work.,
I Loc-tited my pin in place and we will see if that works. Looking forward to trying the Feathers Pros I have on order. Take care.
