  3. Great shave Neal. Not as intense as the Battle of Winterfell but nice. That has got to be the darkess battle scene I have ever witnessed on the screen but my girl Arya took care of the problem. I hope she now sets her sights on Cersei! :kar:

I was weak and gave in to Jim’s enabling on A&E soaps. Not satisfied with just falling off the wagon, I joined their VIP program to get special releases and discounts. I’ve already received 2 soaps with a 3rd on the way. The A&E Frozen Mojitos smells just like the drink. The soap has a touch of menthol which provided a touch of welcome cooling. I haven’t used the OneBlade Genesis lately so a I thought I would break it out. Instead of using the Feather SE blade, I modified a Gem blade. The trick with the OneBlade is to forget about technique since it’s not needed and actually gets in the way of a great shave. I press down to activate the pivot and go. I went with a traditional 3 pass shave and minor touch ups ending in a perfect BBS shave. This razor does a better job with ease than anything else I’ve tried. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

  18. As there have been no changes in the survey since my last report, I hereby project ADJUSTABLES....SOMETIMES as the winner. COOKIES&ICE CREAM faught the good fight but looks good for 2nd place. As we know, I projected ADJUSTABLES BABY for last place in my last report and I see no reason to change that.

Felt like a DE shave today and the 2011 R41 has been eyeballing me with puppy dog eyes, so feeling
quite sorry for it, made it my razor o' the day. This City blade was a gift from someone...:signs002:
It's swedish steel and was manufactured in New Jersey.
Noticably thicker than modern de blades, there was a slight tugging, probably magnified
by the razor choice. Nonetheless, it performed well, without feeling rough.
It's not a blade I would re-purchase, if still available.
The Mühle, especially with the Weber handle, is a heavy razor. The center of gravity
compared with straight razors is quite compact.
DFS in two passes, with BBS everywhere except the neck, which with only 24 hours of growth
is almost impossible for me to achieve without risk of irritation and/or worse.
    Afterwards, the R41 and I held a brief tête-à-tête...
We discussed why I am using mostly straights, when I get just as good of shave (in some respects---
    better),
    with my DE razors :signs002:
This is a very good question and imo, a straight razor does not shave you any closer. Period.
I keep going back to the "
nostalgia" aspect, even though, one could make a case that DE razors
have nostalgia as well, and they certainly do...that is the primary reason why I, and I will not say "switched",
but rather "added" straights to my shave routine.
I am not sorry that I sold 90% of my DE's. I kept my favorites.
So, I guess you could say I swing both ways. :happy102:
No comments from the peanut gallery. :rolleyes005:
Pierre Cardin has me smelling yummy. :eatdrink023:
