I'd like to make the suggestion of taking the second one @dmshaver and seeing if @jimjo1031 could do the work using his fine skills. Just a thought. What do you think Jim?
Thank you for the offer. I believe I'm going to wait until I can find a case for a gold 3 piece New Deluxe in good condition instead of going to the expense of having one restored. A couple of packages arrived today An English goodwill with a what I think is a repurposed leather case and nicely done too An English new with the short round posts. Interestingly I feel the goodwill should be in the case that the Gillette New is in.
After cleaning, Autstrop A1 and B1. Cameo stainless steel and aluminum sink cleaner really works well for taking the black tarnish off these things. These were so black they made Al Jolsen look white before I cleaned them up.
Got this lather catcher head in Monday. Mainly bought it for parts but with a little TLC and a newly made handle it turned out to be a nice little razor.
