That explains why I've been feeling pangs of envy watching Joseph @Primotenore and others developing their honing skills. I'm going to have to buck up and find that Cattaraugus barber's hone. Been too long since I used a SR.
Forgot to mention - I shaved today. Nothing particularly MAYhemmy about it, other than I need to smooth out the edge of the Thiers Issard on the hones. Cheers!
Andrew-- It seems more like Gillette foam, same design can, nearly identical ingredients. Performance was fair to good, decent skin feel. Scent is "fresh" and doesn't linger after the rinse. I prefer Barbasol.
Thats MAYhemy enough for me Randy. And I'm not just sucking up because you judge the Shavey awards...I know your daughter loves the sound of " nein!" and I wont disappoint her this year. If I was ever to shave with goo, it'd be Barbasol.
Barbasol is better than ALL of my newbie brush lather. I recommend it to newbies while they learn technique. To be picky...goo is aerosol shave gel. Since it's MAYhem, I just might...
