May 3, 2019 OneBlade Genesis V2 Modified Gem PTFE Romera Olive Wood Synthetic Oleo Shiloh Soap & Aftershave Happy Friday everyone. The little Romera synthetic is a floppy thing while being a lather making machine. The Oleo Shiloh is an ADP dupe and smells fantastic. The soap's performance is also first rate. Three passes and touch ups ended in another perfect BBS shave. A splash of the matching aftershave and I am off for a short day at the office. I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday.
Well, today is my birthday, so I used items that were special to me or were gifts. The razor is from my paternal grandfather (no date code) the brush from the 2019 travel box, the soap from Fuzzy, and the AS from Christmas. Not a bad way to celebrate the 4th anniversary of my 30th birthday.
Thanks Doug. Will only get better (or worse) from here on in. The monkeys in my workshop promised something better than last MAYhem. We'll see.
I found out something cool about my father's family that I didn't know (lots about his family I know) My family on that side come to North America in 1630's to New Hampshire and my first ancestor was born in this land in 1638. They also fought for the continental army. I am also a descendent of King Edward III. My wife is kinda ticked off because her family history wasn't as cool as mine lol. History is cool!
