I've been using American Prov. now for about 3 weeks. I used the unscented travel size while on vacation and I'm now using the full-sized firepits. And, so far, I'm impressed. It works very well and even survived the "gym test" with near perfect marks (99/100).

One thing that might be noteworthy for others: this is a solid "stick" product, but there is a high percentage of coconut oil in it. As a result, the product will moosh/melt a little as you apply it. This isn't a problem for me, but might be unexpected for others. Just rub in any excess with your other hand and you're good to go. You should also probably keep the tube out of direct heat/sun for this reason. Coconut oil melts at 76 F, so you might want to keep an eye on ambient temp. Or for a real morning wake up, keep the stick in your fridge.:Animatedfrozensmily:

edit: scent-wise "firepits" is nothing to write home about and it's light enough that you don't really notice it after a while. It's not that it's bad (to my nose), but it's also nothing to get excited about. Several other scents are available including sensitive/unscented.

I use Ban roll-on antiperspirant/deodourant: Satin Breeze when I can find it; Regular when I can't find Satin Breeze.

Satin Breeze may sound like a girly fragrance, but it's not--light and clean, and not unlike Bounce fabric softener sheets.

When I can't find Ban: Degree aerosol antiperspirant/deodourant, Sport fragrance.

I hope it's still working for you. I'm using it exclusively now. It has yet to let me down, though I do like some scents more than others. "Rosaries and Revolvers" and "Shotguns and Shenanigans" have become my go-to sticks.

Yes, thanks for checking back on it. I have nothing bad to say about AP at all. Even after a tough gym session, I'm still smelling good -- well at least my pits are. No skin irritation. A little less expensive than Native Co. So, total winner in my book. I've got a few Natives still "in stock," but once those run out, I'm switching to AP.

Thank you for posting your original recommendation!

Seems I lean towards green/woody/chypre type scents. Listed in no particular order, I have on the shelf...

    Right Guard spray deo
    Stetson stick deo
    Burt's Bees spray and stick
    Speed Stick original deo
    Brut stick deo
    Axe tobacco amber deo
    Axe Urban dry spray
Addidas Dynamic Pulse spray (Christmas gift from my sister)

Old Spice Citron I keep in the Dopp at work. Had I known they were going to discontinue it I would have stocked up. It's that good.

Haven't used Speed Stick Musk in a few years, should get some.

Axe body spray/with the deodorant in it. It works keeps me dry. I like it better than the roll on ones you can buy.

I was thinking of trying Tom's of Maine. How is the longevity of this stuff?
