    Matthew, I really enjoy following your shave reports and learning about products we don't normally see in the U.S. Nice job!

    Excellent progress, Gary. Most shavers eventually abandon the pre-shave product. It's superfluous.

    I wash my face with a pre-shave soap. I got in the habit of shaving before my shower and using the pre-shave soap gives me a clean, fresh slate for my shave.

    Hembree Not as pretty smelling

    I had a very nice Sunday shave a few minutes ago. I thought this would be a MAYhem shave but it was one of my best shaves. The secret - BUTTER baby. When I first heard about MAYhem back in December I planned on using butter. I had read somewhere that old timers had shaved with butter at times on the farm. Clean up is the only downside. You just take the stick and rub it on your face and go to town. Two passes and a little touch up on the neck and I almost caught the baby. The Karve D-OC was buttery smooth this morning. 20190504_192438.jpg 20190505_065648.jpg Just a tickle of alum, finished with some Nivea and Clubman Classic. I wish I had some bacon cologne. Now I have to go eat my buttered toast!. Take care and have a great day.
