Great Sunday shave this morning! Razor: Stick Schick 1965-80's Blade: Schick II or twin (4)(folks claim these have great longevity) Soap: Tabac Brush: Razorock Noir 400 Pre-shave:Wet the face + warm wet face cloth for 40 sec X 2 +Aloe vera gel Post shave: Alum block + cold water rinse Post shave: Razorock Emperor + witch hazel & Nivea balm Have some great shaves!
Autostrop B1 with a Feather stainless steel FHS-10 blade, shave 2. I got an even better and closer shave on this shave than on the first with this blade. I realized 2 things one the angle I was using still not the same as the Gem Micromatics and I wasn't using the same angle on all 5 passes for each shave. Adjustments made and the shave improved. Changing the angle to because you don't think it is cutting because you can't feel the blade doesn't make this razor shave any better. You got to let it do it's thing as it was designed to work. That is the important lesson here and that is you need to hold this razor a little bit differently from a Gem and turn both from however you are accustomed to holding a razor when you DE shave. I don't know if that holds true for the Ever Ready or Star razors though. Couple of shaves I won't even concentrate on keeping the handle angled this way, it will come naturally with practice. This razor really is mild but deadly thus far with this blade. I'd have to put some more shaves in with it to say for sure but I would compare this shave wise as being similar to the Gem Bullet Tip with the guiding eye on it thus far using stainless blades in both. Whether there is a difference between the guiding eye versions and non guiding eye I wouldn't know.

yes sir, looks good, makes the other colors pop as well..the only enders razors i have seen for sale don't have the chrome in the middle, solid bakelite type handles.is yours a later or earlier version?

Really rather good so much better than with the HFT yesterday, not only Smooth and Comfortable, but without too much effort the quality of finish was excellent.
