  2. 1. You have to leave it attached for 3 days unless you are @Terry (1 day) or @matthewoli98 (30 days)
    2. You can't say that "you couldn't quite put a finger" on why your shave was bad
    3. You might have a bad shave, but on the other hand it could be good
    4. Running with scissors doesn't excite you anymore
    5. It makes it hard to buy stuff on-line, or use your phone or the TV remote
    6. Your head itches, and you give yourself an accidental haircut
    7. You give someone a hand and automatically become blood brothers
    8. You rub your eye without thinking. Once you get home from the hospital, you'll be able to blink and wink at the same time.
    9. It would be a handy way to shave
    10. You'll only be able to snap your fingers once
    11. With a little practice, you could trim your finger nails with one hand tied behind your back
  3. Funny Charlie!

But maybe he could modify it using velcro.
    ;)

  4. 12. Scratching in the wrong place may turn oneself into a eunich.:innocent
  5. I don't know how much maybe can be accepted with a precision machined razor and Russian steel, but good try Neal!
Awesome shave Matthew and great haul!
    Beautiful shot Jim!
In glad you are enjoying the Injector shaves so much, Stephen!
    Awesome shot Clint!
I have a couple of plastic DE razors that look very similar Jim, just with a replaceable blade. Have a good trip!
    Awesome shave Joe!
It's pretty cool being able to shave with your own edge, congrats Blair!
    Beautiful setup Joseph!

Super smooth shave this morning. With all of the talk about Gillette Wilkinson Sword blades going around lately I thought I would give one a go. my previous impression of them were that they were a decent middle of the road blade, nothing special to write home about. But holy cow, this blade was awesome this morning! Beautiful slick lather and awesome scent from the Ramblin Man soap, this one just jumped up into my top 10! Easy three pass BBS. Finished with a dab of Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB followed by a splash of the Ramblin Man AS. One thing I will say is that it takes a good amount of shaking to get the AS out of the new bottles/flow restrictors. Don't know if that's a good thing or not. Have a great day my friends!

  9. Great shave, Andrew!
I'm a fan of flow restrictors that take some shaking, better control of the quantity that way.

  11. Thanks Jim! Unlike the PAA apothecary bottles that the AS just flows it of, lol. I too like a little resistance. Most days I prefer to go a little lighter on the AS, especially if it's a strong scent.

  12. That's the kind of spirit we need around here!
  13. I'm careful with the PAA apothecary bottles and half the time i still end up with too much. The only bottle i have that's worse is the Derby City Chop Shop which is a cork in a full sized opening. They do send a mini turkey baster to control application.

  19. OK, actual recap for yesterday's shave. I had this idea mainly because two years ago when I taped razor blades to my finger and shaved with them, the tape didn't hold well on either attempt. Superglue can be softened up (but not fully removed) with acetone. So I took a good Russian DE blade, and glued it to the outside of my index finger. I figured this would give me the ability to do both N/S and S/N passes. My previous Mayhem shenanigans have taught me that any contraption will shave decently if you can mount the blade straight in a way that doesn't allow it to flex much. Still true.

Lesson 1. Blades have holes in the middle, so put the glue on the blade, not your finger.

Lesson 2. Superglue takes 10 seconds to bond. You have to hold the blade steady while this happens, without touching the glue you put in the wrong place. Wax wrappers can be used, as they don't stick much.

First pass went really, really well. The blade didn't chatter, and I was at a DFS. Started my second pass, blade chatter all over the place. When I glued the blade, it was close to the bottom edge, so the WTG pass went well. The ATG pass I started on my left cheek was not as smooth. Opened up several weepers. I got most of my neck and left side shaved ATG, but then the blade chattered, flexed, and dug in. Got a pretty deep slice after a pass and a half. I said uncle.

I went to the utility sink to use the nail polish remover to remove the blade.

Lesson 3. Superglue on a razor blade will remove callouses.

Went back to the bathroom to finish the pass with an injector. No issues, but a pretty good bleeder on the cheek.

Lesson 4. Be very careful to rinse off all acetone nail polish remover off your hands before checking to see how smooth your bloody shave was.

So that's my Mayhem gauntlet thrown. Which of you lemmings is going to pick it up?
