This is not a wild MAYhem shave, but a philosophical contribution.
I had always wondered if these were the same things people shaved with. Figured, I'd give it a try. AccuTec industrial. From the same folks that make Personna USA and Gem.

Fired up the beloved R21 under the wonderful protection of Stirling mutton tallow soap.

The specs on all their DE blades appeared the same except for coatings.
An uneventful shave. I don't think I could tell these apart from the teflon coated Personna blades I have. 4 light touch shavette passes. Could easily go for more, which is more than I could say for other blades in my shavette training. I really wonder if there is any difference in any of their blades other than degreasing and coatings.

I figure somebody had tipped off the Russians about my testing, and they were trying to lure me back to the fold with a Max Headroom fave from the motherland.
Now if now if I can only scare the Solingen folks to send me some of those poorly made, bent, dull, and frowning straight razors I'm hearing about. I think I can get them shaving well using the new methodologically antique convex Arkies I got.
Or the Japa...... nah, they don't scare so easily.
Finished up with Stirling Executive Man.
