  1. Great shave and report, Blair! Using both hands makes straight shaving easier and I am happy that you are more confident in doing so. Eventually, when you have more experience, you may do an inverted blade against the grain on the jawline and neck. You will find that you will get a BBS that way. Again, do not do this move until you feel confident and get consistent great shaves.

  3. I didn't even consider enabling and MAYhem. I concentrate on morale and momentum. I'm in good company, then. ;)

I hope all is well, Jason. I know you've been incredibly busy these past few weeks...OK, months. :) It will be nice when you get some downtime this summer at your lake camp. My Bride's not in a traveling mood until we get settled, but I hope we can make a late summer trip to see our friends in Whaletown, BC.

  4. Thanks, Jason! The cut is minor and it goes with the shaving ritual. Anytime you finish a shave without getting stitches is a good shave.

  5. All is well with me. I am enjoying some time off. I am trying to line up work in other districts for the fall. Also, might go back driving a cab a couple a days a week in the summer.

  6. I hope you are able to go there and have a great time on the beautiful rural coast, Charlie. Thanks for the nice words. Yes, it has been a particularly busy and stressful time at work, especially over the past few weeks. I know everyone is busy, though! Your are right, I am most definitely looking to 'declutter' at the lake soon.
PS- saw the picture last night, your new Den is superb!

  7. MAYhem 2019

    5 - 7 May, MMXVIII A.D.

Day Five through Seven - 85 Coupe Deville and Feather

Ended up being super busy and not home much. Feather is the sharpest blade I've tried, but not the smoothest. However, with proper angle, it delivers a smooth and comfy two pass shave. Days two and three were better than day one. Been raining for a couple days here, and the earth has come alive in green leaves and bright flowers here on the plains near Denver. Other than that...I've been busy, but all is quiet in Colorado. Back with today's plan later!

    Have a great afternoon!

    :)
  8. Chris, veddy nice shave and pic!

  14. Hope the cut was not bad. Toss the blade they are too cheap to worry about. Congrats on being at 64% completion of your goal.

  20. Thanks Danny! I am surprised that Voskhod dulled quickly. On my next shave, I will start the first pass and see. More than likely, I will bin it. Anyway, I appreciate your encouragement as always, Danny!
