Finished up a couple of handles tonight out of the 1/2 aluminum rod. The Schick razor has a "splined" area that I pressed fitted into the bore that I drilled into the end of the handle. The DE handle was grooved for the o-rings. Take care.
Thanks....I appreciate the kind words. I just hated to see the old Schick taken out of service. I like the way the handle feels and I'll probably give her a test drive this weekend.

Shot a blob into the bowl, punched out the propellant and added cool water until it was SR quality hydrated lather. Yup, I soused it. Blade in the #195 still holding and edge so I took three passes at number nine, but skipped the extras. Still a little stubble on my lower neck but I'll live with it. Next shave it's time to pay more attention to stretching and angle. I opened both aftershaves and asked the grand daughters which they liked. Of course they each like one but not the other so I used both but on different sides. Hurray for bilateral symmetry and dizygotic twins. Good Shaves Y'all!
