yes sir, very much. only second shave in and a bbs ..now i can get bbs with most of my gillettes at the expense of a little burn on the lower neck .this was no problem today, could be lower neck toughening up too but not complaints here..great razor, a nice english oc crat will be my next mission..

Hi folks. I took a pause for a bit today, and had a look at many of the razor sets posted here. I must say, there are many beautiful examples of Gillette hardware here. You guys have outdone yourselves, and all posts with photos show great shots of your gear.
Kudos to you all. Good Stuff folks. Excellent thread. The comeradery is exemplary as well.

So moving on down the line of Super Speeds and today was the 1956 Flare Tip. Love where this one sits on the efficiency scale. Loaded up with a Dorco Platinum and this razor is quite nice for a slow and rainy Sunday (yes it is Mother’s Day).

Soap of the day Henri et Victoria Terre d’Henri. Very, very nice soap. The Simpson Special made quick work of lathering up and carried enough lather for three passes despite its small size.

Lovely two pass shave was all that was required today and quite enjoyable it was. Hope everyone enjoyed some family time and most importantly honoured the woman who started it all...MOM! Happy shaves all!
