Worked up a bowl of lather and applied a dab to the ceramic hone. Gave the square toed blade a couple passes for a refresh. Twenty laps on linen, then leather from one of Adam's
@Drygulch strops. The lather was prepared a little on the wet side as compared to a DE mix. I took WTG passes cheek and neck using either hand as was comfortable. Rather than push my luck, switched off to the Gillette for the rest of the reduction. Great slickness from the soap, and Jason's
@jtspartan handle always pleases with the synth knot. No nicks, very smooth where the SR did it's duty. The old NEW LC cleaned up the rest for a nice DFS. Grand daughter Melody walked in as I was putting away my gear, "Blood on Steel? Mmm pie!" She thinks it's apple pie flavored.
