Couple new additions. One definitely TSD BAD influenced by @Keithmax The Drake Certified is everything he mentioned earlier this month. Exquisite packaging, thank you note, first class materials and workmanship. Added the AoS Oud SC and Cologne to the den yesterday while out shopping for wifey's Mother's Day. Not sure which made the difference....but whipping the Drake and the AoS cream in the shaving bowl created oodles of lather....seemed like Barbasol if you just pressed and almost forgot to stop. The AoS Oud wasn't necessarily slick (to me) as ToBS, WK, MWF, Cella, or even Arko, but it is definitely creamy and thick.

Puma did about 100 laps on the strop before shaving this morning. A big help! Today was a 2.5 pass close DFS shave til the end. Getting used to using various parts of the edge to shave the contours. Took my time, used both hands, flipped front/back as needed. Even with going slower, still about 20 minutes total for the shave, 10 minutes shower and prep.

I did make a mistake on buffing XTG on mid left side of my neck. Literally the last 30 seconds of the shave, chasing the DFS in a spot, trying too much, and I guess lost focus. A very slight side movement...misguided. A little over an inch 'paper cut'. No depth. Might be a couple days before I can shave that area, it's gonna need to heal. All good though, another lesson learned.

Joseph, great image of the gear and love the AoS goodies. I wasn't quite sold on the AoS Sandalwood aroma. Too stuck on ToBS and Proraso's (and Stirling). That Henkels is lovely. Much better shape than mine!
