Thanks Clint...don't work to hard this week. I feel a vacation coming on. I have five days vacation time I need to take before the 20th of next month or I loose them and that it not going to happen.

Thanks, Clint! We are having a great time. We're heading out in a few to tour a nature reserve. Yesterday was a dolphin cruise that was fun and tomorrow we're hunting shells along the beach. We are doing enough to keep busy but not enough that we feel busy. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
May vacation will probably be hooking the camper up and pulling it to the farm. We have full hook up at the farm and I can shut the gate and zone out!

GD's are made of decent steel but can be quite the challenge for a new honer. ZY razors are also inexpensive and made of decent steel but don't have the same kind of geometry issues that the Gold Dollars have. Also if you are interested in getting into honing on the cheap look into lapping film. You can get 3 or 4 sheets of lapping film and a flat surface to use them on for probably less then $20
