Yeah, the carpet cutter blades are the only ones that I know of. So the one wasn't just a dud? Swell. Well for my 8 bucks at least I got a nice handle.
Nice photo Robert. Do you know if you have the pathology blade or the carpet cutter blade? My understanding is that the pathology blade is better. I got one last year from Fuzzy and it was usable, not the sharpest but it worked. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Mayhem 2019 Noble Otter~~Simpson Persian Jar 3~~dubl duck SR #81 Late shave, late post. Fantastic Best Badger knot. Wow. Nothing like today's "best badger" quality. Persian Jar 3 handle is so smooth and fits so nicely in the hand. This was a real revelation. Noble Otter was excellent. Nice lather, great protection and very good slickness. Of course, the dd rocked it out. SWMBOSOA© on the NO. Short 'n sweet.

MAYhem!!! 2019 May 13 Razor - Fatip Piccolo Blade - (1) Soap - Blood on Steel 2018 by Jeeves of Hudson Street Brush - 30 DC LE Alum Fairly busy day today. I put in some hours making money to make up for my days off later this week and got a few other errands done. Shave time rolled around and I decided to stay aggressive with the Fatip Piccolo. The Ladas SS blade from Mostochlegmash is a perfect match for this razor. Sharp and smooth and an all around great performer. I chose the Blood on Steel soap from the meet up last year. In a few more weeks we'll have a new Blood on Steel creation for the meet up. I used the 30DC LE brush tonight, and I'm looking forward to the new meet up LE brush that will be available at the meet up too! I think you're going to love the new brush. I haven't unwrapped any of them yet (ok so maybe one to take a peek). Like the LE brush from before they are similar but not identical. More on that later. By the way, I updated the list of attendees for the meet up on the thread last night. If anyone needs to add their name or needs hotel info - it's on that thread in the Chatterbox or you can just PM me. On with the shave tonight - the Fatip is a favorite, even though it can bite if you ignore it. Tonight was a night of perfection for it. Very smooth, easy going and comfortable shave. Three passes and the alum is silent and the baby is in the house. Can't beat it. The scent of the Blood on Steel is lightly hanging around too. I like it. Have a great Tuesday!
Yeah, unfortunately I think that's the best we can do. I bought mine from tryablade.com hoping the ones there were a better quality but I just haven't found any that are "human ready". Perhaps someone could try honing them more. Somehow that sounds like a bad idea.
