Monday evening May 13 - trimming the hedge English Gillette Flare Tip Rocket / GSB (3); Personna Lab Blue (1) Semogue Owners Club cherrywood Tuxedo brush TOBS Avocado cream Alum and TSD Bay Rum milk aftershave My last shave was last Monday evening, so I had a week-old beard to get rid of. The TOBS Avocado cream provided an excellent lather as always. The GSB on its third outing didn't seem quite up to the task, so I replaced it after two strokes with a new Lab Blue, which sliced through the undergrowth as smooth as butter. The English Flare Tip Rocket was one of Gillette's heavier and more solid offerings in the TTO category. I did end up with one small red patch of abrasion on my throat. Otherwise, it was a drama-free shave. Two passes to go from a definite beard to DFS cleanshaven. Have a great week!

May 14, 2019 Wolfman Ti OC (0.74mm) with Hempel Ti Feather 30 DC LE with Tuxedo Oleo Shiloh Soap & Aftershave Another excellent shave this morning. Of course it is hard to have a bad shave with Shiloh. The scent is just fantastic with performance to match. Three passes and touch ups ended in a perfect BBS shave. A splash of the matching Shiloh aftershave and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

No weepers or nicks. I just need to dial it in a little more. Completed the shave with some Nivea and Pinuad Clubman Classic. Take care and have a great day.
Mayhem 2019 Eufros Tobacco~~Simpson Emperor 3~~Dovo 91 SR #82 Mayhem post between clients... Love me some Eufros Tobacco. Just ordered another tin from Manuel, along with a tub of Sandalo. Found yet another Grey Box era Simpson. This time a 59 in best badger. Selling two brushes to counter this purchase. So far, I have sold 4 brushes, 2 more on the BST and acquired 3. That's mos def a den reduction ratio. Kept it wet today. Results were slick and messy, but satisfactory. Still a nice edge on the 91. That pointy blade'll get you it you're not paying attention. Didn't get got today. The Eufros ASB leaves the skin ultra-hydrated and protected. Worth checking out. Manuel is a true soap/scent artisan---and I don't use that term very often. He has stock and a new formula if you're interested in ordering. I can hook you up with his email.
AgadirMen: I'm going to need some practice/further experience with spreading the shave gel over my face&neck. There's 16 oz. of the gel, thus I shouldn't need to worry about applying TOO much into my hand. Just as I predicted earlier, this invisible gel is actually visible coming out of the bottle, but you can't see it go onto the face&neck. I didn't apply as much as I should have on the opener. But that's the funny thing about gel-you don't need as much gel as cream for a decent shave. I went in with this way of thinking for the Agadir, but since it can't be seen in the first place, it should be applied as one would apply Barbasol or Rise, or any other cream-the more the better.. Eventually, I got a decent shave, but I need to be better at it. Nothing fancy about the aftershave......you feel the sting right away, but it settles down in a minute or so. I realized almost right away that this aftershave can be used with any unscented or "neutrally scented" shaving cream. Or wood-scented, of course!! It's a classic fragrance, and you even get to read a bit about what "Oud" is(on the website). I'll be making further commentary as I proceed with these products, about the issue of would I buy from AgadirMen again. But for now, one shave in, and I'm ready, and eager, to keep working on the gel "method". There are other available products than the ones I have(for hair, body, and "beard health"). .
