It's one of the best and inexpensive soaps out there when it comes to shaving supplies. Clayton Sent from my LG-K450 using Tapatalk
It is a good soap but some people don’t like the smell. I think it smells fine, a cross between lemon Pledge and soap. IMHO it is best bang per dollar in shaving soap.
There's an excellent review just a few posts down from this one: https://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/arko-shave-stick-review.61542/
Except for not having much scent it's a good shave soap I use it all the time, for the price it's a really Great shave soap!! I grate mine into a container.
Thanks I think I might have to find somewhere to go and get it. Thanks for the info everyone and I look forward to hearing from more of you as you chime in on this topic.
Less than a buck apiece here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VAWZ2U/?tag=thshde-20 Arko is a great soap. You may or may not like the scent - a 50/50 proposition. You'll have enough in a 12-pack for yourself, friends, family...and still have enough left over to degrease 9 car engines and keep flying insects (and most importantly @Hembree) off the back porch all summer. Bottom line...you gotta try it. Let us know what think.
You don't want that guy on your back porch. He is like a hound dog that will not leave and I hear he has fleas!
Just let it sit out in the open so that it can air out. It will eventually smell no worse than Williams. Clayton Sent from my LG-K450 using Tapatalk
I grated it and left it on the kitchen table over night. You should have smelled my kitchen. I may need to get it out and put it outside for a while.........a long while!
Ok thanks. I was hoping to find it locally before ordering online because if I like it I will order but but if not we'll.......
I do believe ARKO is made in Turkey. I have yet to see it on store shelves in the US. Maybe if you live in a large urban center. The stuff is so inexpensive I'd suggest shopping for a three stick deal. If you like it you'll have 1-1/2 years worth of lather, or a couple sticks to share with friends & family.
