I couldn’t do any lighter. Any lighter I’d either drop the razor or lift it off the skin.

It's the best fig scent IMO with maybe only Costume National Homme being #2. I don't really care for any other fig-based scents after those two. Fico di Amalfi is fantastic for warm weather.

    SOTD:
Beautiful shave today, another stunning performance from the fatip piccolo, definitely without question my favourite razor, it cuts through hair like a hot knife through butter.

A stunning performance from the omega 49 and the malt n myrtle, this brush does very well with hard soaps, but id recommend face lathering for the first few shaves until the bristles soften a bit.

The Wilkinson sword blade was perfectly sharp even after its 5th use, and paired with the Fatip gave me a perfect BBS shave after two passes with a few touch ups.

The Brut by faberge is a fantastic aftershave, so glad we still find tons of it in South Africa, and its dirt cheap too!

    Razor: Fatip piccolo
    Blade: Wilkinson sword (5)
    Brush: Omega 49
Soap: the gentlemans groom room malt n myrtle
    Aftershave balm: aquaeous cream
    Aftershave: brut by faberge[IMG]

A lovely Sunday Shave. It was my first outing with the Kai Captain and I was not disappointed.
2 passes and some touch up for an almost perfect finish. The single weeper was dealt with by the Alum.

Enjoy the remainder of the weekend!

    Cold Water Rinse
    Proraso Sandalwood
    Bunny B-400 by Tom
    C.V. Heljestrand
    Heljestrand wedge
    CWR
    Pinaud Lilac Vegetal

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Cream face lathered well with the Bunny B-400 by Tom. I did two passes with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor with a Heljestrand wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Superb Sunday
Diamond yielded excellent lather and the splash made my skin feel good after this close and comfortable shave. The Vision really shines for me because my cheeks prefer the most efficient setting, and I can dial it down three turns for my neck. I don't feel the need to buff.

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Blade: Lord Platinum
    Pre-Shave: Defeel Argan oil
    Lather: B&M Diamond
    Aftershave: B&M Diamond

    Razor: Timeless Bronze OC
    Blade: Gillette Nacet (1)
    Brush: Montalvo/TnS Tip knot
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: PAA Will-o'-the-Wisp
    PAA Galactic witch hazel
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: PAA Will-o'-the-Wisp

    Good morning!

Starting a focus along with @Jorvaljr using the Timeless Bronze OC. This is my fourth use with the OC baseplate. The first three shaves weren't bad but I was getting more feedback from the alum than I'm used to. Today I really took my time, paying attention to the techniques I've been working on since I started traditional wet shaving. Shallow angle, no pressure, short strokes and skin stretching. Three passes for near BBS. The feedback from the alum was better but shows there's still room for improvement. I'll have another go tomorrow.

    Have a great Sunday!
