Good morning! Back to work today after more than a week off. Sad day. This morning's shave with the Timeless Bronze OC was excellent! Three passes, near BBS with just a tickle from the alum. I'll have to give muscle memory credit for this shave as I found my mind wandering throughout. A lot of menthol this morning. Every bit of software from start to finish contained menthol. Menthol Monday's Shave Cold Water Rinse TSD Cool Lime Oscar11 Synthetic TNNSER Gem Blue Star CS CWR Osage Rub My prep was just a cold water rinse. The TSD Cool Lime Shave Soap face lathered well with the Oscar11 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a Gem Blue Star CS blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Monday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Ramblin’ Man Soap: Palmolive Menthol Cream Razor: Vintage Gillette Fat Boy Blade: Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” Super Stainless (13) Brush: Maggard Synthetic-24mmx56mm Aftershave: Pino Silvestre Oud Absolute WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) Palmolive Menthol Cream today. 10 seconds to load the Maggard Synthetic brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Pino Silvestre Oud Absolute EdT. Bob
Menthol Monday: L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Wilkinson TTO/Rapira day 2 Stirling Frozen Tundra SS Prep ASB Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Eau Sauvage EdT An amazing BBS shave, albeit a bit hurried because I’m invited to play golf today with a couple of friends of mine who live down here - this caught me by surprise because I didn’t think of bringing my clubs with me. The Frozen Tundra is a VERY cold soap - in fact it’s Stirling’s second strongest mentholated one after the Glacials. It has such a beautiful scent which reminds me of the Glacial Wintergreen, it lathers so rich as well as slick, and the menthol sensation hits hard, especially during the second pass. The Prep and the Alcolado Glacial were a perfect finish. Guys, wish me luck with these games!
