  2. Had a good shave today, but for a weeper over the jaw area(again). In the end, I figured I'd rather see a weeper than look like one of our early Presidents(I think Rutherford Hayes had the thickest beard).. No more facial hair for me-clean shaven from here on out. Ah, I tried.(again). 2 passes off the Central Texas Soaps puck. I'm looking ahead to another CTS later in the year, though I'm sure I'll still have some of the Grandpa's Barbershop left as well.

    Getting bored.
    Grass is ridiculously long.
    Can't drive.
    Can't go to work.
The nether regions have taken on a reddish-purple color.
Other than that...let's talk about a great shave, shall we?
Now, my intention is not to enable, but to educate. :)
This product is outstanding. The shave crème is very soft, so you are getting a pre-hydrated product.
Yes, water is cheap and I do prefer a triple-milled soap, however, a finger-full, smeared
on your face, will lather up into a super-slick, crazy aromatic lather, with a post-shave feel that rivals
the best of the best. According to the directions, you can use this product with or without a shave brush,

which is similar to the Art of Shaving line of creams. The smear goes on and it's already got a nice
sheen going on. The soaked M&F really worked the lather into the 24 hour growth and developed the
soap into a wonderful, creamy, NOT butter-cream @wchnu lather. For straight razor shaving,
I found the consistency to be ideal. (The lather rinsed easily from the blade)
    The scent description is:
Leather, Bourbon, Tobacco Leaf, Vanilla, Grapefruit, Amber, Cedar, and Sandalwood
What's more, I am a huge tallow fan. This is a vegan soap! Best vegan soap I have ever used.
The company has recently reduced their prices, so they are worth investigating.
The aftershave tonic comes in a huge 200ml bottle, which, in a modest shave den rotation,

will last a very long time. Excellent hydration, leaving the skin smooth and refreshed.
In case you couldn't tell...I am a fan.
Customer service is also good. I had an issue with my first tub of the soap and the company made it right
    without hesitation.
    Phew...that was exhausting!

What about the shave Primo? I know you are all asking yourselves.
The Red-Injun has a great edge, but would mos def benefit from some laps on the Naniwa 12k.
    It needs smoothing out.
Otherwise, shave #87 with a straight razor was "straight"-forward (pun intended) and without drama.
One word about the M&F Polo 2, "Outstanding". :D
    One of my top knots/handles. It's a super-star.

  7. 05/21/19 – MAYhem Shave

RazoRock 400 Noir Plissoft Synthetic Shaving Brush
Salsa Bowl / Timeless bowl scuttle
    Fine Accoutrements – L’Orange Noir
    Rockwell 6S Modified Shavette – Plate 6
    Voskhod Blade
    Nivea Post Balm
    Pinuad Clubman Classic

Great shave this morning. I brought out the Rockwell modified shavette for a MAYhem shave. MAYhem will be over before we know it and I have to admit there has been less blood loss than I anticipated.

First time out the door with Fine Accoutrement’s soap. I was really impressed with the performance of this soap. This stuff lathers up great and the scent is nice as well. I will definitely keep this soap in the rotation.

The modified shavette does a good job it just takes a little getting used to. No blood loss and the alum was silent this morning.

Finished up with some Nivea and Clubman Classic and out the door to work. Man I need a vacation!

Y'all take care and have a great day.
