Thanks Jason, Ramblin Man is a fantastic scent. Top 10 Stirling if not top 5. It's a hard one to describe, masculine woodsy musky base with sharp citrus top, it's very nice!

Thanks, Joseph! A fool's pass is when you go against the grain in the mustache area. It is going South to North. It is a difficult pass because the stubble is quite stiff. It is called a fool's pass because you have a greater tendency to cut yourself. I perform WTG and XTG before I attempt the fool's pass. It isn't necessary for me to do it because I get a nice result w/o it. I do it when the mood strikes me and want an over the top smoothness in that area.

Thanks, Danny! I am blessed with quality razors in my den and Dovo is right up there.

Today I shaved with the razor that started it all. By that, I mean my transition to the Dark Side.
    It's all @Paul76 's fault, btw. :happy102:

Actually, the switch also facilitated a pretty significant change to my shave den as well.
I am not sure if this has happened to too many others in our hobby, but my tastes have really changed
and what I thought I wanted to have in my den, no longer interests me.

Truth be told, if I were to still own every item that I ever acquired, my den would require
3 times as much space as it now does. Seriously.
Today's soap is fairly controversial as well. Leviathan is mos def NOT for everyone.
Indeed, it has received some comments that make Arko look good.
Me, I like it. It's masculine (hear that @Hembree :signs002: :happy102:) warm, round and
    the leathery aspect is distinguished.
First go 'round with the Simpson 59. BIG blooming knot on this brush.

    Check this out!

I have been singing the praises of these Grey Box Era Best Badger knots as of late and this
brush is right up there with my "high end" brushes. Seriously, if you close your eyes and
use this knot on one side of your face and a $350 Two Band Silvertip on the other side,
you would not be able to tell the difference. I kid you knot (sic.).
    Excellent, slick and shiny lather---bowl-created.

The Portland 1905 is my thinnest (narrowest?) blade and it seems to require a firmer, more deliberate stroke,
than my larger straights. Less natural momentum, I would presume.
Nonetheless, whiskers were removed and blood was avoided.
    The usual post-shave routine: Alum/Thayer's.
Completed the experience with the B&M splash.
I'll be smelling this for a while. :)

    Beautiful shot Robert!
Wonderful setup Keith! How does the Karve F compare to the Jorris?
    Beautiful shot Gary!
    Pain stick, no blood! Winning!
My ZY took a pretty nice edge, I bet it will come around with a little more work!
Beautiful shot Jim? How did the SHD bulb perform? I think I got an atypical specimen that is extremely short lofted, it's about 7mm shorter then my SHD Fan overall. I will put it to the test next week.
    Great shave Matthew!
    Beautiful shot Clint!
    Fantastic shave Danny!
Good work Blair, the razor looks awesome!
    IBBS++, Very nice!
Wonderful shave Joseph. That is a monster of s brush!
