Another great shave with Stoylin Sandpiper. A little too much water got into the puck, but presumably it will dry off by next time I use it. I did a better job today than yesterday of aftershave administering(shall we call it A.A?). It leveled out better.
And we have a projected winner! "Just Gonna Shave" takes it. The race for 2nd is still tight-can't make a projection on that one. Regular Idiot leads Cookies&Duffnuts by 2.
Mayhem 2019 MWF~~Rubberset 400/3~~Friodur~~Floïd SR #91 Man, oh man, was this puck of MWF dried out! There's only one solution for dry...and that's wet. That's right, a healthy, long soak, a.k.a. BLOOMING You're looking at the last, remaining boar brush in Primo's den. I can't bring myself to part with this piece of history. No, it does not have the original knot. @Jayaruh set an Omega Pro in it and what a knot it is! Break-in is probably about 35-40%. It simply doesn't get enough usage to be more broken-in than that. It'll get there eventually. Broken-in or not, the Rubberset tore into the just-hydrated MWF (tobacco-cured, btw) and proceeded to pick up a decent amount of soap. Pure face-lathering and plenty of H2O, resulted in a magnificent, really slick, protective lather. Vis-à-vis the scent, while I still get some tobacco, the scent-strength has diminished significantly. It's mos def a project I will repeat in the future. The razor, which almost removed my left knuckle, was well-behaved today. The edge, courtesy of Obie, is one of my best. Mos def in my top-three straights. 1) dubl duck Goldedge 2) Friodur 3) Dovo 91 2+ passes, Alum, Thayer's, Floïd Blue completed a cracklin'-good shave. Primo...out.

Thank you Jason, everything went faster than planned, up until an extra six hours of work was put on us after our inspection. Which add ones are not normally a problem, but we checked out of our rooms that morning and they had already been resold for the night.
Jason, I am sure you know my comment was tongue-in-check just as I know your comment is. Ribbing one another is one of the good things about this forum. Peace out, my friend!
Looking back I don't know why I called you Paul. Things that you go hmm. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
