A beautiful fall day: drizzly raining and pretty cool. I thought we were on the ascending slope: a couple of days ago we had 26°C.
Hence i decided for a strong soap and what better than Strong 'n Scottish?
The vulcanized rubber smell goes as it's lathered and had a great shave notwithstanding I feel Feather's a bit rougher than Kai's. But I imagine it's just a personal feeling.

    Cold Water Shave
    Vitos Preshave Cream
OSP Grapefruit and Menthol Shaving Soap
    Semogue 'Taj' Badger/Boar Brush
Gem Featherweight Razor with a Treet Carbon Blade
    Mentholated Witch Hazel
    Dove Moisturiser
    Epsilon Blue AS

The Tree blades give a good shave....but it is a little off putting how quickly the main body of the blade tarnishes despite a coating of Ballistol. I don't think I will be restocking.
3 passes for a perfect finish and it is off to the Hay Festival for a talk on the D-Day Landings!

    Cold Water Rinse
    Ingram
    Jayaruh #356 Synthetic
    Ever-Ready Bathroom Set
    Gem Blue Star CS
    CWR
    Osage Rub

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Ingram Shave Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #356 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Ever-Ready Bathroom Set razor with a Gem Blue Star CS blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I think Maseto brushes are far better than FS ones.

Reef Point Submariner today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner aftershave.

I haven't tried an FS brush but the Maseto Silvertip and Finest knots are excellent imo.

    My Menthol Monday SOTD:

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Wilkinson TTO/Astra Green day 2
    Soap Smooth Frozen Cranberry SS
    Lucky Tiger ASB
    Fine Snake Bite AS Splash
Bleu de Chanel EdP (later today)

We’re taking a 4:00 PM flight today to return home after a wonderful and well-deserved vacation here in Miami. I had a very good shave thanks to my fabulous Wilkinson razor/Astra Green combination as well as this lovely Frozen Cranberry soap which I received as a gift from my precious wife a while back. The scent is beautiful, the lather is thick, rich, and dense, with a STRONG menthol punch along with very good postshave care. The Lucky Tiger balm is very similar to the Prep, especially scent-wise and it’s very cooling as well as moisturizing. A couple of splashes of the Snake Bite gave me an intense freezing which felt so good - in fact it feels like an air conditioner in a bottle. All it took were too passes to get me BBS.

    Have a great week!

I have a few Fs's and they are certainly good, some got on an Ebay auction for very little. Ang got them because i had not known about Lyojuni-Maseto yet... Found out about Lyojuni-Maseto only later.
    I have a 2-band (London) an it's one of best I have.
Non only, but they cost less than FS' who's gone out of his mind: my 'chubby' ST costs now about 50% more than 4 years ago!
