Went with the EJ for another day, for the very scientific reason that it was already under the sink from Friday. Pulled a few neglected software choices and had a pleasant 3 pass shave. The zamak thing doesn't bother me really at all, but I will say I don't get quite the close shave with this razor (on my lower neck and jawline) that I do with a number of my other razors. A very smooth shaver, though. I might pull it from my rotation, actually, and save it for the next person I get a combo together for.
Sounds like I missed some MAYhem this weekend...I'll try to get caught up later.

Had 2 Camrys. An older 90s and a 2009. To be honest the older was a way better car. The 09 ate wheel bearings , gas , and the interior was terrible. Headlights were like driving with them turned off. Worse in winter .

A very relaxing morning here at the homestead. @jluc Jim suggested I would like the scent of the L'Orange Verte and he was spot on. I didn't pickup much citrus off the puck but once I started face lathering it was a citrus explosion over an earthy base. I really like this scent. Three passes and touch ups ended in another BBS shave. I did get a small weeper above my lip but otherwise a drama free shave. A splash of Fine L'Orange Noir and I am ready for the day. At Maya's request, I will be smoking some whole chickens on the Big Green Egg today. @Bama Samurai inspired me to make some fresh tomatillo salsa and use the chicken for some street style tacos.

I want to thank those that made the ultimate sacrifice and their families so that we can enjoy the freedom they provided. As I go through the day, I am reminded that freedom is not without cost and sacrifice. I wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day.

My current car-a Chevy Cobalt was described by my dealer as "rides like a Corolla". I think he's right. Looks about the same, too.

 

They are going back to making soaps and splashes, as they clearly are not professional designers...

 

Here's something you need to know about(unless you read it in The Stoylin Exchange)....it appears there's a rumor that I might be PIFed some nice Stoylin glacial "stuff". We shall see if this becomes a fact, but for now I can't comment-the thing is "ongoing" after all(the rumor).

 

I have a feeling the Agadir Oud Wood will be more comfortable in the late fall/winter months. I think I can complete my planned "three-fer" of it, as the next two days will see a drop in temperature, but then I may have to "shelve it" til October. I'll have more commentary Tuesday and "Whensday".
