Awesome shave right up until the end John. Might also get your CT changed to Snowballs 2. Had a few others in mind but are not appropriate for this forum.

I’ve really enjoyed your Single Ring shaves this month, Jim. Another great looking combo today.
Sounds like a great shave, Robert.
Another classic Rick Pic! What you call blurry, I call a neat effect.
Perhaps add a little AS to that old Colgate?
Is that brush new, Keith? I remember the darker bog Oak Rudy Vey with a Shavemac knot, but not this one.
Glad to hear all is back to quiet in Colorado!
Snowball, indeed. Well, the shave sounded great until that. Proraso Green is a fave, the Canadian prewar Tech is a classic, and that Cypress wood from Rick is beautiful.

Patrick, have you considered going the other way? Just a thought.
Thanks. For the price it's a well built blade holder. They also come in a white chrome finish. If you decide to try one, skip the option with the 10 Chinese blades. I couldn't get a first pass done with them, but the Feather blades are great.
Thanks Jason! I used an app on my phone, then another on the laptop. Can't adjust details what's not there. Adding scent to the soap sounds like a good idea. I've slowly gathered others opinions on an Old Spice scent dupe. So slow that since I didn't make notes, I know there's Stirling, B&M, and Soap Commander, but I forget which was recommended by who. I do have several bottles of the vintage juice, and what's left of a bit of the modern stuff. That may be a good rainy day project. Vintage soap & scent!
Couple days ago my washing machine bit the big one. Shame since I'd spent money replacing the water pump on it couple months ago. So I got out in the garage/carport and moved some stuff around. Pulled out two washers, tested, and found one that was functional. While I was rearranging my hoard of other peoples cast offs, left over building materials, and assorted junk, I spotted two pieces of unprocessed wood. Pecan & Live Oak. Both a couple meters long, and 75 mm in diameter tapering to 50mm (6 feet by 2-3 inches). There's more of that cypress if I haul out a ladder and chainsaw, too. Also spotted a cypress tree that I can harvest right at the edge of dad's orchard. It's big enough to make salad bowls.

    Good morning!

    Tobacco Tuesday!

The perfect shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Totally silent alum.

New soap and aftershave today. Astra Planeta from Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements. I wasn't sure about the scent off the puck. The tobacco element is there but with a lot more going on. Once lathered and combined with the aftershave it works. Very very nice! CK6 is a top tier performer.

    Have a great day!
