Memorial Day SOTN

Whew, 10 shaves in and this blade still feels pretty sharp. I'm gonna let it ride. The Razorock GC 84 worked flawlessly tonight with more than ample slick lather - enough for 4-5 passes no doubt. I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day. I make sure that my daughters always understand the importance of this day.

Given the uncertain day, turning to the sun, I opted for a good all around soap and one of my favorites!

I don't know why it is ...
The scent is good, not artificial, but nothing particularly exceptional, it doesn't even come close to Freelander's Rose, lathers great, but there are many. Nor is post-shave protection memorable.
However, I like it a lot!

It made me start the day in an excellent way after a sgnuf night!

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #356 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Ever-Ready Bathroom Set razor with a Gem Blue Star CS blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Catie’s Bubbles La Terre Verte today. 20 seconds to load the Wild West Brushworks/Elite Manchurian White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud aftershave.

SOTD:
Beautiful shave today, what the maca root cream lacks in slickness it makes up with its excellent protection, this stuff lathers fantastically and its amazing how little of it you use.

Ive definitely become a huge fan of the extra slickness most soaps provide, but creams will always be in my rotation for sure.
