Good morning one and all! Here’s my Thursday SOTD: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Astra Green day 5 Bundubeard Rooibos SS Fino ASB Proraso Red AS Splash What a dynamite shave this was - as I keep saying, this 1950s Super Speed is the best razor for me and no other can replace it. The Astra Green blade helped me get a 100% BBS shave so easily in two quick passes. Jaco’s delightful Rooibos soap delivered tons of incredibly thick, rich lather with that beautiful sweet, herbal scent that I love so much. The Fino balm moisturized and soothed my skin so well and the Proraso Red aftershave went on with no sting whatsoever - do I ever love that scent! Have a great day!

2019-05-30, Thursday Today it was an exceptionally good shave: the combination of a soft razor with a sharp blade for a short beard, an excellent soap and with a very good fragrance and an AS balm I found, by chance, into the basin where I bury them. Jim appropriately loves his Tabac... I definitely don't fault him for that. I reach for the bowl or shave stick quite often. It's some great stuff! I need to get some of the AS someday... Hmm Father's Day is coming up?? Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
Is there a thread for those of us who use modern cartridge razors, but enjoy the other parts of wet shaving...brushes, soaps, etc.? I've tried and tried, but my skin is just too sensitive for DEs and SEs. Yet I enjoy this community.
Try here my friend.... Happy Shaves regardless of the means. https://theshaveden.com/forums/forums/cartridge-razors.31/
Some of us periodically post cartridge shaves. I have a vintage Gillette Atra that I use every once in a while and post it when I do. There are several others who sometimes post cartridge shaves (often a travel shave but not always). Feel free to post yours because it is all still eye candy for everyone Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
Star 3 piece razor Silver Star blade Burma Shave Boar brush Lea Shave Stick Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Daxton A/S That little Burma Shave brush sure did whip up a fine lather with the Lea Shave Stick. Mighty fine indeed and a great shave was had. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks
Supposedly Sinatra. Or so the sales jargon claims. I don't know if the tall tales are true from Creed, but there is no doubt they make incredible scents. The smells market themselves IMO.
