Over the 3 day weekend while I was away working, Prime did it's thing....and delivered some 1.5mm leather cord. Spent a few minutes last night wrapping the Feather handle. Tried several different options (overlapping patterns, alternating colors, one color, other color, etc.), but ended up liking this layout the best. Wifey and girls did too, so finished up the ends. It'll be in lots of images going forward.

@Frijolero. I purchased a few of his den thinning items, and he threw in (Thank You!) a bar of the Wickham Soap Company's Glycerin Face Soap, a fragrance called Shamrock Tweed. My perfume describing abilities lacking.....but I liken it to Stirling's Baker Street. Thick lemony, fresh citrus. Very nice and glycerin slick.
Easy 2.5 pass BBS shave today. A little lower right neck irritation as I chased the BBS with the fresh Kai blade (this blade really feels smooth, me likey). I'm sure some of that smooth was from the excellent (imo) Cella SC. For a cream...it's a pretty solid recipe, not much moisture at all. This SC isn't milled, or as dry as many replacement pucks, but it is really hard compared to what other manufacturers in my den call 'cream'. Love the almond aroma! Cella SC is really slick, but it lacks a little in volume and staying power (dissipates a little) over the course of a shave pass. The slick stays...the lather just thins a bit, so I reapply on the areas that need attention as I'm shaving. Did thoroughly load the Wet Shaving Products Synthetic Badger (twice)....and added water/whipped it crazy til it was creamy and smooth in the bowl. The WSP brush does really nice, good backbone, soft tips, doesn't 'splay' much as you work the lather in the bowl or on your face. Zero scritch. I'm a boar brush guy though, so it sees little duty.
Finished the shave off with the Cella AS. Only a little feedback....of course on the lower right neck.
Hope veryone has a Terrific Thursday!
