  8. Tending to the lawn yesterday put me in a time pinch so I went with the much maligned R48.
I was irritated from the pollen and the heat so menthol was calling me.
Brut is my traditional fave so I had to at least try the DG copy. Brut Splash On dissipates fast, this faster making it the ideal menthol drown carrier. I generously M-bombed the remainder of this bottle with wonderful results. I usually don't notice a lasting menthol effect that some do, but I succeeded today. Most of my upper torso got a decent helping of the coolmax elixer. Nice!

Great fast shave, smooth and irritation free. I'm gonna do this one more.

For those interested, Joanna still has some M-Bomb up on Ebay.

Happy Friday. I am so glad this sort work week is just about over. The Cade soap works very well for me. It is easy to lather, slick and rinses clean. I like the slight woodsy scent as well. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. Even though I am not much of a balm guy, I do enjoy the matching Cade balm. Overall a fantastic shave to end the work week.

    May 2019 Recap

I have really enjoyed this month of shaves. I started off with several SE razors from the Vintage to the Modern. However, I spent half the month with Tatara Masamune razor. This razor really rewards those who have a good solid technique and spend the time to dial in the narrow operating angle. When I do my part, the razor is exceptionally efficient and smooth. I will continue to my efforts to master the Tatara razor during June. Most of all I have enjoyed participating in the 30 day thread and following along. It has been fun to watch some of the crazy shaving stunts this month. I am looking forward to participating next month.

  17. MAYHEM shave. I thought I would finish May out with a razor I have not used in 5 years. My old Gillette Sensor. This is the razor that got me into wet shaving. I was tired of the irritation and cost of cartridges so I switched to save money. :happy102: Anyway it was not to bad of a shave this morning and now I have got to figure out my focus for next month. It has been fun this month and my most memorable shave would have to be the Karve butter shave. Y'all guys are the best! 20190530_195331.jpg
