The 1914 is a great little razor, very effective and a pleasure to use.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

Schick J injector with twin injector blade.
Whenever I shave with twin injector blade, I feel like commiting blasphemy of converting into
    cartridge shaving. :)
    Super easy BBS!

    Simpson Chubby 1 / Maggards 2band
    Arran Aromatics - Bay Citrus
    Schick Type F
    Schick " Chick" [ 2 ]
    Tuff Green A/S Lotion

Whilst not being aggressive I find the F if not rushed provides for a most relaxed Shave . Being very forgiving one can quite easily attain a really good class all round finish. Maybe should have saved this for Sunday, but need a slightly quicker Shave as need to be out the door fairly early.

    RazoRock Syn. 24mm
    P & B Spitfire
    PAL S/S Adjustable
    Schick single - Japan [ 5 ]
    P & B Spitfire A/S Splash

I seem to be on a roll with my Injector Shaves, another nice relaxed one using one of my long time favourites. I find that with a mid point setting the PAL shaves very smoothly, and I have no problems carrying out the polishing up strokes need to get a satisfying close all round finish.

  13. From what I've heard on various forums it is the mildest razor of all the Autostrops. It still gives a smooth shave, just not a bloodletter like my VC-1.

  17. Just a change up from Sunday routine, I used a Everready 1924>1933 Shovel head with a E.R Streamline strop handle for extra length and weight.
Good audio feed back and handling with this razor and results are reasonable CCS,DFS,BBS & I have had better with this razor.
Razor:Everready 1924>33 Shovel head- excellent condition
    Blade:Gem SS PTFE (2)
    Brush: Razorock Noir 400
    Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch
Pre-shave: Wet the face + Aloe Vera Gel
Post shave: Razorock blue barber + witch hazel + Nivea balm

  20. Nice find, & very rare to see one. It must be remnants of Gillette taking control of Valet autostrop to take on other Single edge MFG's for that era?
