Welcome to TSD and to the 30 Day Crew @shaver_99! You beat a path straight to the heart of The Shave Den forum with your First Post. I see you did your homework on choosing a Rule. You & that gear will be old friends after a month. Even better - the next razor will become familiar quicker for spending time developing the Techniques needed for your best shaves. I think you said you're 4 years in on your Wet Shave Journey? There's a common cause of irritation that many new cart converts must conquer - pressure. It's about letting the blade do it's job. Not pressing so you don't scrape your skin. Those blades ,"Made in Israel" are also known as Personna Blues. Many retail stores have them packages as store brand or generic blades. Good service life, and plenty sharp. If you were a raw newbie I'd suggest changing after three shaves to make sure you weren't fighting a dull blade. After a while you get to know what a dull one feels like and don't have to count. Since we of the 30DC tend to jabber and share about more than shaving, getting on a first name basis happens. I'm Rick. Don't let the "Moderator" or Staff badge spook you. Think of me as an old Boy Scout, turned electronic Janitor. I'm around the rest of the forum keeping the halls shiny and clean. Here you'll see my shave reports with all the nicked up, slightly bloody details.
We all have our Mrs. Grundys. Most typified by her knowing that somewhere out there someone is enjoying themselves and she's going to put a stop to it. I see the gear Chris. How were the shaves?

So sorry to hear about your Grandmother, Fuzzy. I’ve never actually tried a Bic, Jim. Is this the only blade you get these type of results from? Lovely colours, Clint. The soap sounds like a winner. I had a sample of that cream once- a decent scent and performer for sure. Castle Forbes is a level above for scent quality, imho. Awesome post, Joseph. I’ve been on the lookout for Burley since your Old Spice thread a few months ago. Which base is that SV soap, Mark? Has it been updated to 4.3 yet? Menthol at s good price? Might I suggest Palmolive Menthol?
For some reason the two Bic blades I've tried felt like they had teeth. Harsh shaves. I'm not quick to blame my tools but hard to believe my technique falls off a cliff each time I've used these blades. Like I said, I may have gotten a couple of duds. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Welcome to The 30 Day Crew @Artluv! I'm an old guy when it comes to some of theses new Interwebs stuff. Is that #WallOfHashTag going to draw a bunch of folks in to read our thread?
