SOTD June 4th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap EDRIO #75 ATT Atlas H2 Voskhod (3) Hardright Anchorset (24mm, Frigate Class) Soap Commander Refreshment Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill PSB Fantastic shave this morning with one of my more aggressive razors. The ATT H2 is one of only a few razors in my den with which I can pull off a two pass BBS shave with. Super slick lather from the Soap Commander soap and great post shave feel but it just doesn't produce that thick, dense, creamy super goop lather that the tallow soaps do. Nice strong sweet tea scent with a hint of lemon. Not much left for the razor to clean up on the third pass and the baby was easily in hand. Finished with some Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill PSB and my face is smooth and hydrated. Have a great day my friends! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Many congrats on the milestone Joseph. Having already been an accomplished user of aggressive tooling, can you comment on the things of most value to you in this experience for you. Since I had not progressed to wide open adjustables when I started, the new sensation of 'blade feel' had to be my top. Now I want a 2011 Muhle R41. Nice job, be well, shave free.
It was time to refresh my senses to one of my favorite razors. Stainless steel, micarta scales, fancy laser etch. This is supposed to be known as 'the edge retention king', sure hope so. This and my first Sunday Shaver make up my targets in my 'Adventures With Harry Headroom, Home Hone' episodes. I really do like this Et Tu. Opens a little more 'earthly' than current Brut splash. If that opening was a hanger, it would be a negative for me, but it mellows to the nice blend that had to inspire the 'essence of man' subtitle.
Thanks guys. Great shaving device, I got it on the same order with the $20 shavette I love soooo much that I beckon to its call too often
