Yeah it was super packed and we showed up about 30-45min after doors opened. Ran into John when we first pulled up, he was on his way out but got to talk with him for a minute. Would have been good to see ya but with how many people that were there its completely understandable.

Siliski Soaps is top notch stuff, the sample of Questionable Origins is the newer soap base, have olny tried the older version but am looking forward to checking it out. Picked up a Patchouli Blend Shampoo Bar as well as some Balm from Andrew. was really impressed with their Body Bar as well as the post shave oil, so far every product has been excellent and doubt you would be dissapointed. The scent is Questionable and appropriately named lol not sure what to make of this scent lol.

 

Hahaha yeah can imagine it would be easy to get carried away and accidently use too much

Maison Margiela Replica series fragrances are, IMO, some of the best new scents in a very long time. "At the Barber's" is a modern barbershop, sort of like Chanel Platinum Egoiste without the metallic note or CK Eternity without the herbal note and then add an "egg cream" like shaving cream smell. Like some kind of super-high end smelling shave cream note is in there. Very hard to explain, but if you ever really get a chance to wear it or smell it for 20 minutes or so, you will know what I mean. It's a great scent. And "At the Barber's" isn't even the best scent in the lineup. "Jazz Club" is seriously great perfumery. It deserves an award. Hell, the whole "Replica" series deserves to be held up as an achievement. Scents like "Music Festival" and "Under the Lemon Trees" and "By the Fireplace" are fantastic as well. There are more scents I haven't smelled yet but I'm looking forward to them because the ones I have smelled were done so, so well.

 

Your 10 year old is wise. Show her my shaving sets. She will probably like them. I tend to match things a lot.

 

Tabac Tuesday SOTN

Another smooth and comfortable shave with this Vikings "Cayenne Hot" blade in my Gillette Rocket Parat. I've read that these blades are made in the USA with Swedish stainless steel... I may have to get a pack . I'm smooth, smell great, and ready for bed. Happy shaves everyone!

And that Eleven! Man, the lemon scented is nice - and I agree with you. Very solid performer. I really like their asb too. Scent line up very well done. It is solidly in my rotation. The unscented puck is my dumb reach for mornings when i am uncertain or too sleepy to decide.

I am not sure the Feather is the perfect spouse for the Rocket…

I must file winter soaps and I do not know where to put them… (I am not accepting any suggestion deriving from too much spontaneity and enthusiasm!!)
