Thanks, Gary! Tomorrow morning will be my initial shave. I will be very critical in my review because it will be the first one for the 30 DC group. I take this responsibility seriously and I will do a thorough job.

    Just the Basics June!!

    June 4

Razor - 1947 Gillette Super Speed
    Blade - [IMG] (3)
    Soap - Tabac
Brush - Stirling Pro Style Synthetic
    Post - Alum

Third and final shave for the '47 SS and Sharp Star. Hey, that would be the '47 SS and SS. Now I just need to figure out a few more SS items to add on and we'll have a snake. Ok, yeah, I'm a bit brain dead tonight. Just ignore that entire first line. It just has Stupid Stuff in it.

Tabac Tuesday called out to me today as I was working so I pulled the Tabac out and worked it into a fine lather with the big Stirling synthetic. As always it produced a fine, super slick and super comfy lather that reminded me why it is still in my top three. After the three passes the alum was quiet, baby was in the house, and I'm one satisfied shaving dude! Hope your day went well and here's to a fantastic Wednesday! Oh wait, Dr. appointment at 8 a.m. Sheesh! Who scheduled that dog?

I dug out the Palmolive stick this morning, for the first time. I've had it for a couple of years at least. Just never got around to it. I expected awesome lather, and got exactly that. Lathered with another great Turkish boar that's probably dirt cheap until you ship it here.

I noticed a couple of Jaguar brushes popped up on ebay. I will probably break down and grab one here soon.
