June 5, 2019 Supply Co SE V2 with 2 dot plate Schick Proline Simpson CH2 Synthetic Oleo Shiloh Soap & Aftershave Wednesday already. At least the work week seems to be going by quickly. The "Soap Destroyer" ate through the Shiloh whipping up a rich slick lather. Three passes and touch ups ended with a drama free BBS shave. A splash of the matching aftershave and I am off to the office. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

So, not wanting to be a party pooper or anything, I went "all in" on the basic theme this morning. Somebody mentioned that TOBS qualified for basics, so I saw a window of opportunity here. I pulled out some grapefruit TOBS, an old superspeed that I hadn't used in a couple of years (with 2 year old Astra SP blade still in it), and a crown king 28mm synth that I bought for like $8 on clearance because I really liked the wood handle. Doesn't get much more basic than that. I know the suspense is killing you, but... an excellent shave ensued.
