  3. Still 60+ posts behind, but I hate to let the Quote pile build up. If Jim's resto guy hasn't answered yet and you can't wait Terry - visit one of those discount stores. Fingernail paint comes in all kinds of colors.

    but they shave fine, if I want to give one as a gift, I'll want to someday clean them up better with the paint.

  6. Not knowing the mechanics of that particular machine - it's suggested when adjusting Gillettes to open the doors, spin the dial, then lock it down. Takes the tension off while working those more delicate inner monkey motions.
    +1! My preferred method of using Barbasol canned lather.

  7. Rick, thanks for your input, but Big D provided an explanation in the Rockwell Model T thread. The major problem of the T was the blade chatter so they wanted to make sure that the extra turns would keep the doors closed and the blade locked in position.
